The position is a (non-tenured) associate professorship position for six years. It comes with funds to hire a postdoc and the opportunity to have a PhD student as well as a budget for travel and visitors. There is no teaching obligation, but the opportunity to offer courses at the Max Planck Institute and at Leipzig University. Applicants should have received their PhD within the past six years and should bring some postdoctoral experience. The research group leader will be part of the Geometry, Groups, and Dynamics division.
