Gauss lecture

Welcome to the 36th Gauss lecture of the German Mathematical Society (DMV). It is organized by the University of Bremen and will take place on Monday December 6th at 16:00 (4:00 pm) at the Haus der Wissenschaft in the city center of Bremen.

The main speaker will be Prof. Dr. Valentin Blomer (University of Bonn), speaking on "Arithmetik und Analysis im Wechselspiel."

An additional talk will be given by Prof. Dr. Antje Boetius (Alfred Wegener Institute, University of Bremen and MPI for Marine Microbiology). Furthermore, the von Kaven prize of the DFG will be awared to Prof. Dr. Moritz Weber.

The Gauss lecture is directed to the general public. The event is german speaking.
